WHY WE GROW DIRECT TO CONSUMER
We are a direct-to-consumer farm that grows Microgreens with four simple Ingredients: USDA Certified Organic Seed, OMRI-Listed Organic Soil, a little water, and a lot of love. Microgreens: The Original Superfood™, have been shown in studies to have four to 40 times the nutrients of their adult versions.
The bio-available nutrients in Microgreens are well-known worldwide for their ability to support wellness. Think of Microgreens as a multi-vitamin, in its natural form so your body can recognize the nutrients and put them to use.
As our soil becomes more and more depleted of nutrients, causing our food to become less nutritious, we are being told we need to eat more and more veggies. It is now recommended that we eat at least 6 servings of vegetables per day. Even for healthy eaters, this is not an easy task. We have an answer to this, and it has been around forever, known for decades around the world, Microgreens! One cup of vegetables at the Microgreens age is equal to about 2 pounds of full grown vegetables!

About Us
Our Story
We are the Zuniga Family, born and raised from generations of farmers and botanists. We hand sow, grow, and harvest all of our crops together as a family with love and gratitude. We were raised in Texas and Oklahoma with the love and knowledge of farming at the palm of our hands.
Like many journeys to a healthy lifestyle, ours began with illness. We researched endlessly to find help, tried many different healing modalities, and began eating healthier. We decided to start growing our own foods to ensure our family got the best possible nutrients, grown with the most trustworthy methods.
When we learned of Microgreens and their nutrient density, it was a “no-brainer”. Where else were we going to find four to 40 times the nutrients in a more bio-available form than synthetic vitamins? Certainly not in the full-grown vegetables raised in depleted soils! We decided we had to start growing them for ourselves and once we saw the benefits, our friends, family, and anyone else we could share them with. We then started our business in 2019 to continue to spread the word!
Our Practices
We value happiness more than anything, and we believe a healthy lifestyle leads to a more enjoyable experience in life. We appreciate and practice sustainable methods. Although we are not USDA Certified, we will always and only use USDA certified organic seeds from reliable sources and sow them atop of OMRI-Listed Organic Soil. The only other ingredients are a little water and a lot of love. Because we care about sustainability, we compost the harvest trays of microgreens with our chickens who love them! The chickens break them down, fertilize the compost themselves and create compost for us to use on outdoor beds. In addition, our chickens thrive with the same amazing nutrients you can get and produce healthy eggs as well!
